No Such Place is a place that can be seen, experienced and recognized, with a clear identity, with characteristics and inhabitants, a place that is possible to describe and even visit if you wish, but on the other hand it denies that this place is actually here or there. It is no such thing or does not exist as such.
Is there a dominant image of the city, one that exists in our minds permanently? Or do we have to immerse ourselves in it again and again to see or discover which part we allow to exist? What we see is irrefutable but not necessarily true or unambiguous. As a viewer we can't escape the echo of our own gaze. But maybe in discovery the place is already there, waiting to be explored, revealed, found out, or just seen.

35mm film, 2010 - Berlin
